# How to make One Primary Sidebar instead of Two

How can I please make it into one sidebar instead of chat on oneside and the primary sidebar on the other

The chat should just be an icon in the primary sidebar and this is easily doable in VSCode or Windsurf so idk why it bugs out in Cursor

Hey, at the moment, the chat tab cannot be moved to the main panel. However, this feature might be available in the future.

Having two side bars is really limiting the screen space. Could this be prioritised? I’m seriously considering moving to Claude because of this
