Hey @vinte, thanks for being willing to help with the Russian localization, it really means a lot.
Right now Cursor relies on VS Code language packs, which only translate the editor-side UI like menus, panels, and settings inherited from VS Code. Cursor’s own screens like Settings, Agent, and Chat are still English-only. Full native localization is on the roadmap, but there isn’t an open community translation program yet, so you can’t directly contribute to translating the UI right now.
What you can do now to help move this forward is support the native localization feature request in Feature Requests, for example Feature Request: Native Simplified Chinese UI Localization. The more details and votes it gets, the clearer the priority is for the team.
If we add a way for the community to contribute translations, I’ll follow up. Thanks again for the initiative.
