Same on Cursor website and IDE (in Windows11) for Ultra Plan
Same issue on Website and Cursor IDE (Linux Ubuntu 24.04) for Ultra Plan.
Same issue on Website and Cursor IDE (Win11) for Pro Plan.

looks like they have intentionally done this. Bug can be in IDE, but cannot be on the dashboard at the same time. So this is intentional
It can very well be, and almost certainly is, a bug - since they both fetch from the same endpoint.

Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
Until a day or two ago, the usage summary reliably appeared at the bottom of the chat window. Now, it doesn’t show up even when “Usage Summary” is set to “Always” in Settings.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set Agents → Usage Summary to “Always”
- Observe absence of usage indicator from chat pane
Expected Behavior
The usage indicator in chat should honor the Usage Summary setting. This is more annoying than just a UI issue, since Settings → Plan & Usage only shows on-demand usage, not the percentage of the subscription token budget that’s been used.

For AI issues: which model did you use?
Probably not applicable, but Opus 4.5 (I also tried switching models but it didn’t make a difference).
Additional Information
Tried restarting the IDE and toggling the Usage Summary from Auto, to Always, to Never and back again. It didn’t resolve the issue.
Does this stop you from using Cursor
No - Cursor works, but with this issue
I want to see the % token used/remained in the chat window. After updating this no longer shows.

was moved automatically to bug reports, not sure it’s a bug
Indeed, I noticed today that this feature is missing even from the website’s control panel. I couldn’t find it in the settings either. Now it’s completely unclear how much you’ve spent and how much is left. It’s very frustrating.
