few months back , i had this thought about why not build my own autonomous agent that does everyday things and runs locally on my laptop.
So i bought a new laptop , went crazy with claude 12 hours a day and now have created something obvious but maybe also amazing.
The agent does things i tell it to do, like- login to my accounts- send/download/upload files, compose mails, even logs into banking portals to download statements, gmail accounts , can control desktop apps, edit/modify/create/organize files , even reads otp/verification codes over notifications and connects to mobile. It even runs in background doing its own research and notification monitoring to suggest potential tasks.
-Also has an inbuild local vault to store user credentials for unhinged/uninterrupted log ins.
-doesn’t need mcp , just controls and executes tasks on browser , desktop & apps like a human. It still needs some final test runs and improvements but i would say its 90% ready.
i was able to create a self learning and improving memory and experiences capability that makes it mimic a human brain and creates its own local llm execution model with zero coding skills.
I ask it to log in to my bank account or gmail and download a statement or a file or upload and send a file to someone- and it actually does it ! end to end.
I’m wondering if others have tried doing something like this. not just for specific task automation or developer centric but free flowing autonomous capabilities across the board.
