Hi,
Sometimes I need to sequentially paste code snippets in a chat, each with specific instructions above it.

The way it’s currently handled — removing the pasted code from the chat and placing it at the top as context — is problematic. It makes it impossible to reference the code where I originally placed it, especially when I have five or more snippets that I want to comment on in sequence.

I would much prefer that the code I paste remains **exactly where I pasted it** , perhaps styled differently if needed, but **not forcibly removed** from the body of the conversation.

It is relatively annoying, I agree. I usually keep notepad open and I’ll make a very subtle minor change before pasting so avoid the forced context.

Ah, beautiful. Not sure why there’s no pop up box when you hover over the context references that tells you that is an option. Thanks lol
