I love Cursor however it's hard to recommend it

I love Cursor. It’s the best IDE to code by far. However bugs are a little pain sometimes.

During my journey with Cursor I have been reporting around 20 bugs but a lot of them haven’t been fixed until today. And what makes me think is that almost all were already known bugs and already tracked by the team, so I question myself why they haven’t been fixed yet?

I know that the team must be focused in deploying new features but I think some bugs causes a really bad experience and maybe they could get some attention.

As I already said, Cursor is an amazing tool, but it’s difficult to recommend for friends if you know that the tool has some problems.

I would not want you to see this as a complaint, but as a suggestion to keep Cursor great and have the best AI tool for devs and non devs.

Thank you, guys.

@MarceloDiani Thank you for the thoughtful and constructive feedback! This is a great example of well tailored feedback delivered in a friendly manner. We appreciate it!

With regard to the bug reports we greatly appreciate you reporting them. And some insight into how we prioritize bug fixes: bugs that impact a greater number of users in a more severe fashion are prioritized things like minor bugs where there are workarounds possible.

If you feel like your bugs are not getting the attention they deserve, it’s not because we’re ignoring you - likely we have the bug tracked and added to our backlog, but we need to balance patching bugs and pushing the product forward with new features and releases. It’s a balance, and we appreciate your patience and understanding!

One more thing you can do is make sure you’re on the Default Update access rather than Nightly to get the most stable release track to minimize unexpected bugs.
