I love the CLI, but it has a bunch of QoL issues that really hurt everyday and I would love those to be fixed

In an age of vibe-coding, fast iterations, and great examples of competitors (Claude Code, OpenCode) - why is the Cursor CLI still so unusable?

Whenever I resize my tmux window, I see the entire history of the chat scroll down (which takes like 5 seconds).
Vim mode doesn’t have some basic scrolling options.
Choosing a model makes me want to shoot myself in the head.
Can’t maintain multiple sessions.

The case goes on and on.

To be clear, the CLI has been a game-changer for me, but I see other people have great tools from other providers and I have thought about switching over to those other ones because they seem more reliable.

The CLI doesn’t feel like a tool that is being dogfood-ed on. Which makes me think that Cursor is not able to take advantage of the value of what happens when you have these background CLI agents.

IDK I’m just venting I love cursor, I just want this experience to be better.

:100: agreed. The tmux resize is so painful.
