I think Cursor is having issues seeing results from Subagent reviews

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I am currently testing Fable and asked it to help me with a refactor, and noticed that it spawned 2 subagents to do reviews in the background. While the IDE has told me that the subagents have finished their work, the main agent is stuck in a waiting loop as it does not know they finished.
My workaround was to open each subagent’s report and paste it to the main agent, but this seems to be a regression, as I’ve never had to do this before.

Steps to Reproduce

Ask Fable (not sure if other models do this) to send some subagents to do some reviews on features in your codebase and wait for their reports

Expected Behavior

Should pick up snappily when they’re done. However, in actuality, is not doing this.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hi @tee-em,

We were aware of some specific issues involving Fable and subagents. Of course, since Fable is currently inaccessible, that point is moot for the time being.

Are you still encountering this issue with other models?
