I have a question about the Cursor Agents window: these icons appear there, and I’d like to know their names and how to get them in the Cursor IDE.
Hey Francisco. These icons are Cursor’s own file type icons, built right into the Agents window. It’s not a separate icon pack with a name that you can download or install.
Explorer in the IDE works differently. It uses VS Code file icon themes. Cursor ships with two by default, Seti default and Minimal. To switch or view them, open the Command Palette with Ctrl+Shift+P or on Mac Cmd+Shift+P, type File Icon Theme, then select Preferences: File Icon Theme. You can preview options with the up and down arrow keys.
If you want something more colorful, closer to the Agents window look, you can install an icon theme extension from Extensions, for example the popular Material Icon Theme, then select it from the same menu.
You can’t use the exact same icons from the Agents window in the IDE right now. If that’s what you’d like to see, please submit it as a Feature Request so the team can track interest.
