Hi @iamkingsleyf ! This is configurable. [image] Cursor starting in agent mode instead of editor mode To make the Editor Window the default again: Cursor Settings > Agents > turn off Open Agents Window on startup.

How is it i still ended up with agent view after turning it off and then restarting my laptop and now i can’t see the option anymore??

I’ve encountered the same issue. After disabling the option, it disappears, and the cursor still opens in the agent view instead of the IDE view. However, restarting my PC seems to resolve it.

Yeah this is clearly a bug, “Open Agents Window on Startup” set to “Off” doesn’t do anything to suppress the agent view at startup at least on MacOS Apple Silicon. Please fix this, not everyone uses Cursor for pure vibes.
