Ide crashes with code 132 every time

In last versions, the ide crashes every time with code 132, giving the message “The window terminated unexpectedly (reason: crashed, code 132)”. No prompt can termiate a request because this error arises every time.

the ide crashes every time with code 132, giving the message “The window terminated unexpectedly (reason: crashed, code 132)”. No prompt can termiate a request because this error arises every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
One the ide, and ask the cursor AI to fix the ruff violations that it made in a previous response.

Expected Behavior:
the IA should give an answer instead of crashing cursor ide.

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hello! Do we have an update on when this will be fixed? Mine too is crashing so much.

I switched back to version 21 and I have no issues now. Try to download version 21 and you should be able to keep on without issues. I got so fed up with the crashing.

Please try upgrading to the latest version of 2.4 (2.4.36) from Cursor · Download and let us know if you still experience a crash.
