Ignore icon is missing

Hi, Why is the ignore icon is missing from the folder stucture window? Is there a setting or something? Thank you!

Hey, thanks for the report. A couple of questions to narrow down the cause:

  1. What Cursor version are you on? Help > About
  2. Are .mat files actually excluded from indexing and the AI context, just without a visual indicator? Or does the agent still pick them up?

The .cursorignore file itself looks correct. A while ago there was a similar issue where the ignore indicator didn’t show up in the file tree, but that was fixed.

Let me know what you find, and we’ll keep digging.
