Right now, automations let me run certain Cursor agent workflows on very high-level events, like if anything was pushed to GitHub on a particular branch, etc. For my use cases, it would be immensely valuable if Cursor agents could trigger on specific files or folders within these commits and identify if those specific assets were updated, then trigger.
As models get smarter but also more expensive to run, being able to denoise automations that kick off agentic workflows and run them only when needed feels important. This would also help better scope automations in large codebases.
