With version 1.0, Cursor can now integrate with GitHub. However, some of us are other platforms such as BitBucket.
Request: add support for BitBucket integration for Background Agents, BugBot and enhanced codebase context, etc.

I second that request. We use bitbucket as our corporate code repo and world love to be able to commit directly to it.
Even better would be if there was a connection to JIRA also so we can set up background tasks to pick off some easy issues to fix as part of our Sprint (our scrum master could just assign some issues as background tasks and them add them to code review for the other devs).

Yes, this would be very useful along with Atlassian (JIRA+Confluence) Integration.

There are lots of companies using BitBucket and it looks like we miss lots of new features and opportunities. That feature would mean a ton for us.

Same here, we also use BitBucket only and would like to start using the background agent.
Echoing this, it would make my CTO much more open to making all the engineering team use cursor. I’m also wondering if there is an mcp for this
+1 for this. We have already integrate cursor w/ atlassian stack through MCP. However, for background agents I think you need to do the job guys. Happy to help!
