Hey, this isn’t a bug, it’s an unfortunate UI wording. In the line Connected as ... to repositories in organizations: ..., Cursor shows the owners of the repos that the GitHub App got access to during setup. This can include personal GitHub accounts too, like your own, or accounts where you’re a collaborator, not just GitHub Organizations from your profile. So the name can look like a weird organization, but it’s actually just a personal namespace.
Can you confirm a couple things so we can understand what happened:
Is the name you see after organizations: your own GitHub username, or some unfamiliar account?
Open Sign in to GitHub · GitHub. You’ll see the list of accounts and orgs where the Cursor GitHub App is installed. If there’s an extra account there, you can remove it right away Configure > Suspend/Uninstall.
If an unfamiliar account really showed up by itself, tell me and we can dig deeper.
