Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue, and we already have a big thread where we’re tracking it: [Known Issue] HTTP/2 Connection Failures with SSLV3_ALERT_HANDSHAKE_FAILURE

Try this workaround:

  • Cursor Settings → search for “HTTP/2” → set “HTTP Compatibility Mode” to HTTP/1.1
  • Restart Cursor
  • Test chat again

Alternative option (if HTTP/1.1 is slow): switch your DNS to Quad9 (149.112.112.112). Based on other users’ diagnostics, the issue is that Google DNS (8.8.8.8) routes to a Cloudflare CDN with incorrect SSL certificates.

Please reply in the consolidated thread if the workaround doesn’t help, or if HTTP/1.1 is too slow to use.
