Cursor’s background agents work wherever you are - whether you’re at your desk, on a walk, or away from your computer. Just type in a task and our agent will work on your code while you focus on other priorities.

- **Run always-on agents** - Kick off code refactors, test suites, or migrations and let the agent work in the background
- **Access from any device** - Use from desktop or mobile browsers, or install as a PWA on iOS/Android
- **Seamless collaboration** - Share agent runs with team members and trigger agents from Slack
- **Run multiple agents in parallel** - Compare results from different models for the best outcome

When your agent completes its task, you can review the changes, provide follow-up instructions, or open the work in the Cursor desktop app with just one click. You can also open and merge pull requests directly from the web interface.
