Invoice for o1-preview requests but my OpenAI API is still not enabled to use o1

hey all, on my dashboard I noticed that the invoice item related to October has 3 o1-preview requests. That’s possible because I tried to use it, as I was aware that the OpenAI API key wasn’t set on my Cursor account and the o1 APIs are not enabled at the moment on my personal account.
So I don’t understand why there are those requests on the invoice item, as I still literally can’t use o1-preview API on my personal account

Since this paid model is usage-based, you might have accidentally tried to use it when it became available.

yes, but I want to understand: how did I use it if it’s not available on my OpenAI account as I’m not tier 3?

Based on your logs, I can see you used this model from Cursor rather than with your own API key. You don’t need Tier 3 to use this model in Cursor, but if you want to access it via the API, you’ll need Tier 3.
