iOS inbox: Automations source filter shows “No matching agents” despite active automation runs

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor for iOS

Describe the Bug

Automation-triggered Cloud Agent sessions do not appear in the Cursor iOS inbox.

The Source filter includes an Automations toggle. With only Automations selected and pull-to-refresh, the inbox shows “No matching agents”.

The same account has multiple non-archived automation runs visible on cursor.com/agents / via the backend (e.g. source: automations). Mobile-started agents do appear in the iOS inbox.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have at least one recent automation-triggered Cloud Agent run for a repo (visible on cursor.com/agents).
  2. Open the Cursor iOS app inbox for that account/repo.
  3. Open Source filters → turn off Show All and every source except Automations.
  4. Pull down to refresh.

Expected Behavior

Automation-sourced agent sessions should appear in the iOS inbox when the Automations source filter is enabled (same shared backend as web/desktop).

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hi @hfjallemark Thanks for the detailed report. You aren’t misconfigured here, and this isn’t caused by anything on your end. Automation-triggered Cloud Agent runs currently do not appear in the Cursor iOS inbox, even when the same runs are visible on cursor.com/agents. That is why filtering to Automations and refreshing shows “No matching agents.” This is an issue we’re tracking.

In the meantime, you can follow those runs on the web in any browser, including Safari on your phone. If you tap a specific run’s cursor.com/agents/<id> link on your iPhone, it will usually open in the Cursor app and load that conversation even though it is missing from the inbox. If the link stays in the browser instead, that still works.

No timeline to share yet, but I’ll post here when there’s an update.
