Hey, this looks like a temporary issue with the model provider. There have been a few similar reports from other users over the last few days, and in most cases it resolved on its own.

Try this:

  • Just try sending the request again now. It’s probably working already.
  • If not, pick a specific model instead of Auto (for example, GPT-5.4 or Claude Sonnet 4.6) to check if the issue is with one provider or all of them.
  • Run network diagnostics: Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics.
  • Try disabling HTTP/2: App Settings Ctrl+, > search for HTTP/2 > turn on Disable HTTP/2.

Let me know if you can still reproduce it or if it’s gone now.
