# Is Cursor still worth it?

I use Cursor every day, I think the pricing is reasonable/a bit high given current LLM costs.

However, yesterday I found out that I can pay $10 for Github Copilot Pro and get unlimited access to Sonnet 3.5 and GPT-4o with some great features similar to Cursor. (Also it seems that there’s access to O1?)

I think that this may be pretty competitive to Cursor for half the price. So I’m wondering if Cursor will have some exciting features coming soon. For example, I’d love to have the new O1 (not for usage-based pricing with my API key but similar to how Sonnet and GPT-4o are available). O1 seems on a new level!

I’m curious to know what you think about this. Have you tried the new Copilot Pro?

And for Cursor team, please answer my question above about short term roadmap. Like will we get O1 as part of the plan?

The o1 in Github Copilot Pro is nearly a waste of such powerful model. Github Copilot can barely include relevant context to the conversation, even when I prompts it to do so. What a shame!

Currently, I think cursor is still much better than github’s copilot.
