# Is it possible for extensions to provide additional context to cursor?

I’d love to build an extension which provides some extra context to Cursor’s AI.

In Github Copilot, they have a “chat participants” API which lets you do something like this by "@"ing your extension. Continue.dev has a similar concept of “custom context providers”. But Cursor’s AI is way ahead of both!

Is there any way to do this, or is it on the roadmap?
