I upgraded a couple of days ago, but it seems the quota runs out quicker than expected. I dont feel it is 3 times of pro.
From my experience Pro+ works like a charm. I use Cursor daily 8+ hours basically. From my experience the upgrade to Pro+ increased the usage a lot. (not sure if it is exactly *3, but for sure a lot more.
Do you use ‘Fast’ now, and previously not? (Could explain why quota runs faster)
no I always turn off fast, the standard high is fast enough for me.
just curious if you using 8 hours a day, assuming you are using grok 4.6, how much token do you cosume rolling 30 days?
I used Pro+ last month after maxing the Pro subscription before that , I only used 30% of my Pro+ sub but that is because they were giving us 2x usage on included usage, otherwise I would’ve probably used barely 50%. This month I downgraded back to Pro cuz I’m not willing to pay for usage I basically did not use (lol) and I’m already using my on-demand usage with 7 days left on the timer… So I must say it’s an in between for me… I’m just questioning myself whether I’m really using that much usage during my Pro sub and not that much during my Pro+ sub (I know I can see that). I use Cursor a lot at work (like maybe 5h/day in total) and a bit in my free time. Also big tip on the Pro sub, do not use 2 Opus 5 sub agents (was chosen automatically for some reason) because that drained 32M tokens (or ~70% usage) for some stupid reason
