I needed to add comments to the c# xml code, but the editor started changing the code, although I wrote that only comments were needed and the code did not need to be changed.

As Dean says, the best way to get it to just add comments would be to select all of your code in one file and ask the AI to, quote, add comments to this code, quote. Unless you have some AI rules in place that may interfere, this should work pretty reliably.

when ask it to do code for u add this too " with comment for each" it will do comments for every line

So do you just highlight the hit ctrl+k and then do you type the comment, or do you say “comment this code”?

Another approach would be to create a new keybind to have it tell agent to “add description/comment to this code”

Similar to how I have keybind force focus/force ignore?
