I want to set up a bunch of your in-house automations. But I have a frontend bug issue because you only allow a select-all-repo-or-nothing UX.
One of the orga i own has more than a thousand repos, which is impossible to unselect manually. So I tried to use the unselect all button. But first the popup page is not wide enough to see the button. I can find it using tab on my keyboard though. But then the unselect button, with more than a couple of 100 repos, crashes the browser… I just want to use that automation on one repo, not all the repos I own… That’s stupid and will instantly kill my ultra token limit… Not a huge fan of those tactics .
Anyway, I cannot set up any of your automation because of this.
Steps to Reproduce
Just go on the web app and try to setup cursor automations
Hey @Romain_G, thanks for the report, and sorry about the frustration here.
You’re right that the repo picker in the Get Started flow does not cope with an organization that large. Deselecting everything in one go with 3,600+ repos in the list locks the tab up, and I’ve flagged this to the team.
In the meantime, the quickest way to get the one-repo setup you want is to narrow what the Cursor GitHub App can see for that organization, so only that repo shows up in the picker:
On GitHub, open the organization that has the 1,000+ repos.
Go to Settings → Third-party Access → GitHub Apps.
Next to “Cursor”, click Configure.
Under Repository access, switch from “All repositories” to “Only select repositories”.
Pick the single repository you want the automation to run on and click Save.
Back on cursor.com, reload the Get Started page. That organization should now list only that one repo, already enabled.
Note this also limits Cloud Agents and Bugbot to that repo for the organization, which sounds like what you’re after anyway. You can widen the app’s access again on GitHub at any time.
Let me know if the picker still misbehaves after that and I’ll dig in further.
