Hey, thanks for the report. I checked on my side and your account and network look fine. The requests that were hanging weren’t actually leaving your machine. This is a known issue on Windows in 3.21.x that we’re tracking. I also see that shortly after you posted, things started working again.

What has helped other users when it happens again:

1. Fully quit Cursor using the tray icon right click or Task Manager, not just Reload Window, then reopen it.
2. Add Cursor to Windows Defender exclusions: Windows Security \> Virus & threat protection \> Manage settings \> Add or remove exclusions \> Add an exclusion \> Process \> enter `Cursor.exe`. Then restart Cursor.
3. If it still hangs: Cursor Settings \> Network \> HTTP Compatibility Mode \> HTTP/1.1, then restart Cursor again.

If it happens again, wait about a minute while it’s hanging, then open the Command Palette `Ctrl+Shift+P` and run Developer: Capture and Send Debugging Data. Since you have Privacy Mode enabled, the data will be saved locally. Please attach that zip here along with the time it happened and your time zone. That will give us an exact trace.

Let me know how it goes.

Hey @Ardit_Lleshi. The issue where it gets stuck on “Taking longer than expected…” was fixed in a recent Cursor update. If you updated within the last week or two, you should already have the fix.

Can you please confirm everything works нормально now? If the issue still happens on the latest version, let me know and we’ll take another look.
