Hi,
I am using Cursor enterprise. In my Cursor IDE, I have to enable AWS Bedrock so that I have several model to choose, such as Sonnet and Opus. I notice this link: JetBrains | Cursor Docs
Since I use Rider, I try to install the plugin and authenticate myself. It is working fine but I cannot see any other model other than composer2.
I know this is caused by the AWS Bedrock config like in the IDE since if I don’t enable Bedrock, it also shows composer2 without other model.
Anyone knows how to set this in Rider? I try to check the config file but nothing.
The ACP integration for JetBrains doesn’t currently support AWS Bedrock model expansion. Models you see through Bedrock in the Cursor IDE (Sonnet, Opus, etc.) won’t carry over to Rider via the ACP plugin — this is a known limitation, not a configuration issue on your end.
For now, the workaround is to use the Cursor IDE directly when you need access to your Bedrock models. In the JetBrains ACP integration, you’ll have access to the default model set available through your plan.
We’ll be tracking this post to gauge interest from the community, which helps our product team prioritize accordingly. If others need Bedrock support in JetBrains, chiming in here would help.
