Hey, thanks for the report.
This is a known issue with connecting to AI models. Try these in order:
Disable HTTP/2: Settings CTRL+, → search “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2” → restart Cursor and try again in a new chat.
Disable MCP servers (if you use them): Cursor Settings → check the MCP section and temporarily disable all servers.
Run Network Diagnostics: Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics → send a screenshot of the results.
Test without extensions: Run cursor --disable-extensions from the command line and try again in a new chat.
Create a new chat.
If nothing helps, please send:
A screenshot of the Network Diagnostics results
Your Cursor version (Help → About Cursor)
Whether you use a VPN, proxy, or Zscaler
Any errors from Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console
Let me know what worked.
