# keep getting this error i tried installing and reinstalling once stil the same error

Hey, it seems this error is related to an incorrect installation. First, uninstall Cursor from the `Programs and Features` section, then delete the folder at `%APPDATA%\Cursor`, and reinstall Cursor.
