I was today’s year old when I found out that the Cursor team does not update the content of the plugins listed in the marketplace.
For example, the Superpowers under Agent Orchestration was last updated on Feb 17th, when I initially installed it to Cursor from the marketplace, whereas the Superpowers git repo gets constant updates.
The Cursor team needs to do a better job of keeping up with micro-updates like this to ensure paying users have access to the latest improvements.
In the meantime, if you’re interested in manually updating your plugins, you can access them in the ‘~/.cursor/plugins/cache/cursor-public/’.
I understand it is important for the team to introduce new features to stay competitive; however, please don’t become another Google by introducing a feature and never keeping up with updates.
