Latest update simply cannot apply any changes

Describe the Bug

So any prompt to edit code fails to call the edit_tool and tries to connect to Git instead for no reasons when told not to.
This happens on all language, service is unusable.

Any chance i can revert to and older version please?

Steps to Reproduce

Prompt the chat to use edit_tool.
Simple edit of a files with few lines.
Seems to happen on my other projects, C#, Lua, even ah basic html file

Expected Behavior

Edit files like usual instead of randomly try to connect to git?

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.3.0 (user setup)
VSCode Version: 1.99.3
