Up until about 10 minutes ago, on my legacy requests individual plan, I have been able to use frontier models with MAX mode off. Now its saying that Max mode is required for these models. Anyone have any insight into this change?

I completely agree. Instead of continuing with Cursor, it’s better to just subscribe to ChatGPT or Claude Pro directly.

Sorry, I accidentally clicked the like button and couldn’t remove it. I personally do not support this decision and strongly oppose Cursor unilaterally changing the model usage billing policy for existing users.

I am considering switching to the Claude or GPT Pro plan. The usage allowance provided by the subscription is higher and more controllable compared to Cursor’s API pricing.
