Legacy Individual Plan - Max Mode Required

Just reading your post made me angry.

This is a company you simply can’t trust.

Cursor is definately not truth worthy and unreliable as hell.

New users are extremely dissatisfied, and I won’t renew my subscription next year. Cursor is indeed a company with a lot of problems. 1. The grok bot used up my monthly token quota, and they refuse to admit it despite the evidence. 2. Feedback is fruitless; it’s always just a robot answering, never a real person. In a way, you’re lucky you can’t use the grok bot, otherwise you’d end up like me, having your quota used up.

When will you add support for more models? It’s really frustrating.

Does anyone have access on legacy plans to gemini 3.8 flash?

By the way, how much usage quota will I get if I switch to the new‑version subscription plan? Does anyone know about this?

Probably not worth it but legacy isn’t that value as well, it’s all the old models.

I suggest you wait - read my last message and think about what someone on a legacy plan has access to and that these are to my knowledge rolled out to all legacy users over time based on ancienty - I am afraid to write in these forums to lose access to something.

Can I get a hold of you somehow? I assume you are danish? I have some questions for you and I am from DK as well. Do you have a social or something i can DM you on.

Has anyone else noticed that legacy models like Opus 4.6 seem much worse lately?

For example, I gave it a simple task: create a ticket with a title, description, and due date. It created the ticket with only the title, skipped the description and due date, and then said the task was done.

Has anyone else had the same experience?

It honestly makes me wonder if legacy mode is being degraded to push people toward the newer models.

Yes, it’s quite obvious. It feels like we’re back to the 4.0 era. The capabilities have dropped by more than half.

Every model gets nerfed once a newer one comes out. And Opus 4.6? That thing is basically from the last century.

At this point, legacy users are pretty much stuck with Composer 2.5.

Nobody say a word

You’re right. We must keep it secret. Keep it safe.

Why? So this was a bug on your end that you fixed? That’s ridiculous.

It’s over.

GONE FFS

Classy move Cursor! Give everyone a few hours of Grok 4.7, then immediately rug-pull it and lock it behind Max Mode. How many times are we going to do this? At this point it feels like we are being deliberately messed with.

I’ve followed these threads for months now and I will say that most likely our only hope of benefiting from this is posting more about this on X.

It’s very clear that no one’s going to do anything about it here. Maybe someone can get lucky and get Elon’s attention.
