Links and metadata die after re-opening chat sessions

:lady_beetle: Provide a clear description of the bug

When a chat session is closed and opened again (even within the same window session) following deaths often occur:

  • most/all local in-line links to modules, methods etc.
  • context metadata displayed under prompt field (files, websites etc.)

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: Explain how to reproduce the bug (if known)

  1. Make a request, and wait for a complete response.
  2. Observe context metadata and in-line links are all alive.
  3. Close/replace the chat session (tab), and open it again.
  4. Observe some metadata and links are dead. If not, repeat from 3.

:camera: Attach screenshots or recordings (e.g., .jpg, .png, .mp4).

Imagine greyed out, unresponsive names (previously in-line links to code components) and icons (previously links to generation context) without any text.
