Hey, thanks for the detailed report. This is a known bug on Linux. The cursor:// callback from MCP OAuth opens a new window instead of returning to your existing session. It’s already being tracked, and you actually mentioned the same thing in this thread MCP OAuth not completing on Ubuntu (cursor:// callback opens new window). I’m going to close this one as a duplicate so all updates stay in one place.
There’s no fix yet in 3.3.30. I can’t share an ETA right now, but as soon as a version with the fix is out, We’ll post an update in that thread.
