Does it switch from browser to Cursor after logging in the browser?
Its supposed to do that. Check if your browser allows that. Sometimes it asks user for permission to open an app.

Could you restart Cursor to see if it took effect or not? after login it should open cursor, perhaps try different browser to login (you can copy paste the login url from one browser into another to test if opening Cursor works after logging in.
i tried, still not working, i also tried to reinstall and recreate acc, still nothing
