I set this as a discussion rather than bug because I’m not sure if it is a new flavor of issue, or something some users might have reported as a “I LOST EVERYTHING!” sort of bug…
When I start a new cursor window (in 2.0, but I am pretty sure it was in older versions) and click “Open Project”, or use file open, to open by choosing a folder (a repo root with .vscode and .cursor dirs inside), the full project with previous agent chat is not loaded.
Without leaving that window, if I then go to File > Open workspace from file, the window is replaced with the exact same project file content, but now both agent tabs and chat history are populated:

These images are from the same repo dir, same Cursor window (same session), just opened in the order I explained above.
