Mac Command Key + Q closes Cursor window without dialog question

Feature request for product/service

Cursor IDE

Describe the request

The current implementation of the Application Quit keyboard shortcut on macOS, Command ⌘ + Q, is highly disruptive to the user workflow due to its proximity to the Chat Context File Selection shortcut, Option ⌥ + Q.
Accidental execution of ⌘ + Q leads to an immediate and unconfirmed application termination. This abrupt closure results in:
Loss of current application state (e.g., unsaved changes, active chat sessions).
Required manual application restart.
Significant workflow interruption and productivity loss.

Proposed Solution.- Implement a standard macOS Confirmation Dialog that appears upon the execution of the ⌘ + Q keyboard shortcut.

+1 for quit confirmation. CMD+W and CMD+Q are too close to each other to not have this.

you try to close a window in a single project and you accidentally close all windows across all projects in the middle of execution.
