Hey, the crossed-out circle icon means macOS is telling you the app version isn’t compatible with your system. It looks like newer Cursor versions raised the minimum requirements above macOS 11 Big Sur, most likely due to updates to internal components.
Unfortunately, options are limited:
- Update macOS to 12 Monterey or later, this should fix it
The website docs still say macOS 10.15+, but they’re clearly outdated. I’ll pass this to the team, we need to update the minimum requirements info on the downloads page.
Can you try updating your system? Your M1 Mac should support newer macOS versions.
