# Mac Terminal PATH export / Default env variables?

Hello all, I’m trying to set up Cursor for the first time. I’m using MacOS.

I have changed my ~/.zshrc which includes specific export $PATH variables.

When I log into my terminal outside of Cursor, my path is correct.

When I log into my terminal inside Cursor, it forces a couple paths in front of my previously define $PATH in ~/.zshrc

How can I either stop this OR customize what Cursor Terminal adds to env variables?

The added “extras” is blowing up my path and creating incorrect behaviors.
