As far as I can tell, Cursor doesn’t support being used as an MCP server. This feature request would change that, so that anything I could directly do in Cursor as a user could be done using MCP instead. In the happy event that this is already possible, this is a request to document the process and link to it here. ---

i saw some cursor mcp server, Claude Desktop Chat was controlling the cursor to write codes. just google it. ---

It’s impossible to know for sure unless you give more details. However, that sounds like an entirely different thing to me. You are describing an external tool being used to control Cursor. I am requesting Cursor as an MCP server. I have Googled this and Cursor doesn’t currently support being used as an MCP server. Links to show that I am wrong are welcome. ---

what i saw was, that you were installing an mcp server to cursor than you were adding that to configuration of the claude desktop (it has mcp configuration .json file. ) after that the claude chat desktop was showing you that mcp was active, than you were chatting with claude desktop and it was using the vs cursor and writing the codes. But believe me everythin is possible after this AI revolution, world is changing too fast . ---
