# Make gpt-5-codex available in Cursor CLI

### Feature request for product/service

Cursor CLI

### Describe the request

gpt-5-codex is not yet available in Cursor CLI. I see gpt-5 there but not gpt-5-codex. It’d be great to get gpt-5-codex there as it is better for coding. I believe gpt-5-codex is available in the Cursor IDE.

Hey, thanks for the feature request. We’re constantly expanding the list of models for Cursor CLI, and we’ll definitely consider it.
