# MAQAMI Travel: a remote MCP server for hotel and flight search in Cursor

I built MAQAMI Travel, the official MCP server for MAQAMI (a hotel and flight booking platform with 3M+ hotels). It’s handy if you’re prototyping a travel app or agent in Cursor and want real availability data instead of mocks.

Setup: add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):

It’s Streamable HTTP with no API key. Try in Agent mode:

- “Find 4-star hotels in Lisbon for 2 adults, 12 to 15 May”

- “Show reviews and photos for the second one”

- “Search flights from Dubai to London on 10 December”

It can also prebook and book. Booking creates a real reservation, so the agent should confirm with you first.
