Max Mode not Indicated Unless Selecting Model

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

It used to display an indicator that Max mode was on, now it doesn’t which is super predatory. It would be nice if this was changed back so I dont accidentally leave Max mode on.

Steps to Reproduce

Turn on Max mode and look at the chat model, it does not display.

Expected Behavior

It should display the Max mode indicator, that being the text color changing and an indicator showing max is enabled.

Operating System

MacOS

All

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. The Max Mode indicator has been moved to the model selector and there’s no visible indicator of the selected mode right now. You can quickly toggle and check it with the CMD+Shift+/ shortcut.
