You guys flagged my post, so I’ll be direct, brief, and polite. You forced major UI changes on me unannounced, causing me great stress. The li’l pop-up says to be kind because you’re real people, and I’m struck by a sense of feeling like I’m not being treated like a real person over here by you.
Been using Cursor again for the past few days and remembering how much I liked it. Then suddenly it updates, despite I have the updates mode set to None. Forces me into the Agents Window instead of the Editor Window that I am used to. Have to spend a considerable amount of timing figuring out what is going on, and then realize its just another instance of Cursor pushing big changes and forcing their users to comply with their new UI instead of letting me not update or at least letting me choose to start using the Agents Window when I want to.
I answered you in your thread, there are solution Cursor has implemented.
Regression (3.10.20, Layout IDE, agent right): chat tabs in the Agent panel no longer wrap to multiple lines — all tabs are forced into one row. Worked before update 2026-07-07.
workbench.editor.wrapTabs: true + pinnedTabsOnSeparateRow: true — no effect (editor tabs only).
Version: 3.10.20
Commit: 23b9fb205fe595ea2be29da7214e19762d037fc0
OS: Linux x64 6.8.0-134-generic
Please restore multiline tab wrap in the right-side Agent panel or add a setting for it.
