Model display issue

Thanks for reporting a bug you have found in Cursor!
Please add the following info to help us diagnose your issue:

I selected the gemini-2.5-pro model (06-05) in Cursor, but the panel still shows gemini-2.5-pro (05-06). Is this a display error or something else?

Hey, it’s not an error, we just use a shorter name for the model in Cursor.
