Describe the Bug

When hovering over the different models in the model dropdown in the chat interface, the model selection tooltip gets stuck, causing a mismatch between the hovered model and what the tooltip displays.

Specifically, this occurs when encountering GPT 5.5 High or Opus 4.7 Extra High in the dropdown list.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the chat interface, click the model dropdown and move your cursor slowly down the list.
  2. The tooltip gets stuck, mismatching the model actually hovered.
  3. Moving the mouse fully off to dismiss the tooltip, then directly onto a model, shows the correct tooltip.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @KamilTheDev!

I cannot reproduce this on the latest nightly build! I think we’re shipping some fixes here in 3.3. Could you give the nightly build a try (or 3.3 once it’s out) and let us know if this still happens?
