Model unselected in IDE

Hello, recently, some models are automatically unselected and have to be manually enabled again. Once enabled it stays enabled. I assume this happens because the model is modified on the Cursor backend and then is unselected in the IDE.

Two weeks ago it was Gemini 3, today it was Opus 4.6 Fast.

Slightly annoying.

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue
