My cursor keeps crashing after used settings sync

Hey, looks like there’s an issue: state.vscdb is corrupted, probably due to a conflict with the Settings Sync extension.

Try this workaround:

  • Close Cursor completely
  • Open C:\Users\14245\AppData\Roaming\Cursor\User in File Explorer
  • Find files with “corrupted” in the name, or just delete the globalStorage folder
  • Start Cursor again

Warning: this may reset some settings.

Alternative (if you want to keep your data):

  • Back up the whole folder C:\Users\14245\AppData\Roaming\Cursor
  • Delete only the state.vscdb file from globalStorage
  • Restart Cursor
