My cursor STOP is unable to use

Describe the Bug

Cursor stop working, it doesn’t response any questions even just say “hello, are you there?”.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open cursor
  2. Input a question, such as “hello, are you there?”
  3. It’s only show “Planning next moves” without any thinking or response
  4. Will trigger OS warning “The window is not responding”

Hi @jikun!

It looks like you might have a very large file (13 MB+) open. While that’s no excuse for the app crashing, closing that editor should stop the crashes from happening. Could you try ticking Don't restore editors in the crash popup and see if that prevents Cursor from crashing the next time you work with an agent?

Also, please try starting a new chat if you’ve been trying to continue an existing one.

New chat is ok now.
